Bruichladdich Rocks

Aged: no age statement

Colour: old polished copper

Strength: 46%

Price bracket: around £30

Best for: turning a crappy day into a great evening

Nose: caramel, ice tea, lemon, apples, light and sparkling

Taste: creamy and oaky then red fruits and spice. With a splash of water caramel turns out followed by a salty aftertaste. Big in the front of mouth and softly expanding to leave a long smooth burn.

Verdict: Mm-hmm, we’ll take two
